3HB Clube Humbria review: One of the best all inclusive holidays for babies
Finding the perfect family holiday spot that’s both welcoming and caters to the needs of young children can be challenging. We recently stayed at 3HB Clube Humbria in Olhos de Água, and I can honestly say it exceeded all our expectations. This all-inclusive resort turned out to be a true gem, especially for families like ours who are looking for a blend of relaxation, fun, and exceptional service.
Welcoming and Inclusive Atmosphere
From the moment we arrived, the warmth and friendliness of the staff made us feel right at home. They were incredibly accommodating, and we never once felt out of place as a same-sex family. The reception staff were always on hand to offer assistance, whether it was helping with our bags or making sure our baby’s cot was perfectly set up in our room. The inclusivity and acceptance we felt added a wonderful layer of comfort to our stay.
Fantastic Facilities for Families
Travelling with an 8-month-old means that facilities matter a lot, and 3HB Clube Humbria delivers on every front. The resort is perfectly designed for families, and the amenities made our stay much smoother. There’s a kids club, a mini aqua park, and a children’s pool that’s perfect for cooling off with a little one. While our baby was too young for most of the kids’ activities, it was clear how much thought had been put into making this resort family-friendly. We saw plenty of older kids having the time of their lives in the playground and the water park.
The main swimming pool was ideal for us parents to relax by, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols for shade. We could comfortably enjoy some sun while our baby napped in the pram nearby. Plus, the resort offers a babysitting service, which would be a real bonus for parents who want a quiet dinner or a bit of time to themselves.
Delicious Food and All-Inclusive Perks
One of the standout aspects of our stay was the food. The buffet restaurant was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options every day. From local Portuguese dishes to more international flavours, there was something to suit every palate. We especially loved the fresh fish and the wonderful selection of fruits and salads. Even for our little one, there were plenty of soft, baby-friendly foods available.
The all-inclusive package meant we didn’t have to worry about a thing – snacks, drinks, and meals were all covered, and the two bars provided us with everything from refreshing non-alcoholic drinks to cocktails (for those much-needed moments of relaxation after a long day of baby wrangling!).
Lovely Staff Make the Difference
The staff at 3HB Clube Humbria truly made our holiday special. Whether it was the friendly waiters in the restaurant, the attentive cleaners, or the entertainment team putting on fun day and evening shows, everyone was so warm and welcoming. They were always happy to interact with our baby, which made us feel so much more relaxed. The entertainment was fun, and while we didn’t get to enjoy the nightlife as much as we might have pre-baby, it was lovely to have the option!
Perfect Location Near the Beach
Although we didn’t venture too far from the resort (the baby routine is a powerful force!), we loved that 3HB Clube Humbria is just a short stroll from one of the Algarve’s most stunning beaches, Olhos de Água. On the days we did head out, the walk was easy, and the views were breathtaking. It’s a great option for families wanting to mix poolside relaxation with a beach day.
A Few Small Notes for Fellow Parents
While our stay was wonderful, a couple of practical tips for parents: the check-in time is from 4pm, so plan your arrival accordingly. The rooms are well-equipped, with amenities like a hair dryer and plenty of space for a cot. The self-service laundry was a lifesaver, especially when travelling with a baby. They even had a steriliser for the bottles. Also, while the video games room and teens room are great for older kids, our little one was content exploring the grounds in the buggy and playing in the splash-friendly kids’ areas.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a welcoming, family-friendly resort with excellent food and lovely staff, I highly recommend 3HB Clube Humbria. It was the perfect place for our family to unwind, have fun, and make memories. As a same-sex family, we felt accepted and valued, which only added to the joy of our holiday. We’re already looking forward to returning when our baby is old enough to enjoy the kids’ activities even more!
