The Curling Club: London’s Winter Magic
The Curling Club, one of London’s most loved winter attractions, is back and bigger than ever. For its fourth year, it returns to Southbank Centre, and for the first time, it’s also launching at Vinegar Yard. With its alpine-inspired charm and interactive fun, it’s set to be the highlight of the festive season.
The Curling Club, a unique winter destination
Running until 6th February 2025 at Southbank and 28th February 2025 at Vinegar Yard, The Curling Club delivers the perfect blend of sport, entertainment, and seasonal cheer. Both venues feature state-of-the-art curling lanes alongside festive decor, a lively atmosphere, and mouth-watering food and drinks.
This year’s highlights include live DJs, glitterball dancers, and singers adding to the vibrant après-ski vibe. Whether you’re with family, friends, or colleagues, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Southbank Centre
The Southbank Centre venue is a cosy, alpine escape with a capacity for 250 guests. Open daily from 11 am to 11 pm, it offers competitive curling, seasonal street food, and drinks from top brands like Cazcabel and Coors. The festive cocktails and music make it a must-visit winter spot.
The Curling Club at Vinegar Yard
Vinegar Yard introduces a new level of winter fun. With a 600-person capacity, it combines curling with the charm of London Bridge. This larger venue includes food options from popular vendors like Nanny Bill’s and The Untitled Sandwich Shop. Plus, its proximity to Flea London’s Vintage and Makers market makes it a great place for Christmas shopping. Open from 12 pm until late, it’s ideal for festive group outings.
Meet the ambassador
Eve Muirhead, a four-time Olympian and Team GB’s Chef de Mission, continues her role as ambassador for The Curling Club. Eve, who led Team GB to Olympic gold in 2022, will host events at both venues, bringing her expertise and passion to the experience.
