SPYGLASS FAMILY SUNDAYS

Spyglass, Bristol’s favourite BBQ restaurant, located in the floating harbour at Welsh Back, is the perfect place for a leisurely weekend lunch with the family, a series of wonderful children’s entertainers over the Summer. For more information and menus, visit www.spyglassbristol.co.uk

First up is Funky Fae, who will be performing from 12.30pm, and will spend 90 minutes keeping little ones entertained with musical games, face painting, balloons and lots more.

Doors open at midday, and the team will be serving the Spyglass Pirates Club children’s menu, priced at just £5.50, which includes a main course (choice includes mini burger, chicken skewers and penne pasta, all as carefully sourced and prepared as the ‘grown-up’ dishes) and a scoop of Spyglass home-made ice cream. With the entertainers keeping the children occupied after they eat, adults should be able to relax and enjoy their meal and the peaceful river views from the restaurant.

Spyglass offers relaxed drinking and dining from the menu of BBQ-focused dishes, which run from steaks, burgers and ribs to whole, grilled fish and salads with two spacious, airy dining areas. There’s plenty of seating for families of all sizes, and table bookings are taken for groups of 8 or more. A spacious, harbour-side terrace offers al fresco seating in the sunshine.

Table bookings are taken for groups of 8 or more – telephone 0117 927 7050 or email groups@sypglassbristol.co.uk September 2nd, 9th and 23rd. Spyglass Welsh Back, Bristol BS1 4SB www.spyglassbristol.co.uk
