Festive Forest Fair at New Park

If you are looking for interesting, local or crafty gifts to give this Christmas, put Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 December in your diary for a jam-packed, bustling Christmas Fair at NewPark, Brockenhurst.

The fair is being hosted at the New Forest Showground in conjunction with the Forestry Commission, the New Forest Marque and the National Park Authority. Come and enjoy a delicious mulled wine or hot chocolate while you explore tasty locally produced food and home-made or unusual gifts on offer from local producers. To ensure a truly festive experience a brass band, carol singers and refreshments will be on offer, and Santa will be making an appearance.

Visitors will also be able to buy home-grown Christmas trees and holly wreaths courtesy of the Forestry Commission. Last year over 2,000 Christmas trees and holly wreaths were sold atNewPark. All of the trees are grown especially for Christmas on plantations in theUK, and more trees are planted every year than harvested. There will be an expert team of staff on hand too, to help you choose and wrap your perfect tree.

TheNew Forestand Hampshire County Show is a Corporate Friend of Hampshire Fare. Many of the stands will be under a marquee or a gazebo and there is ample parking available.
