Have a merry Quizmas in Greenwich this December

Launching on Saturday 8 December is the Greenwich Quizmas Trail. Christmas-time explorers are invited to join in the fun and follow the Trail to find some chocolate treats and be in with the chance of winning a weekend in Greenwich to follow the stars in 2013.

Running through December, the quiz will take visitors on a light-hearted trail around all the historical landmarks to discover the treasures of Greenwich. During the trail, visitors will delve deeper into Greenwich and explore the delights of the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich Theatre, Greenwich Christmas Market and the National Maritime Museum.

When trail-goers return to the Tourist Information Centre with a completed quiz sheet, they will be rewarded with a bag of gold chocolate treasure. What’s more, there’s the chance to win an overnight stay at the stylish Mercure London Greenwich, dinner and a visit to ‘An Evening with the Stars’ at the Peter Harrison Planetarium, which is situated in the grounds of the Royal Observatory, on 23 February 2012 for a family of four.

To take part in the Greenwich Quizmas Trail pop into Greenwich Tourist Information Centre, adjoining the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre at the Old Royal Naval College between 8 and 31 December to pick up a quiz sheet and a map – or download a copy at www.visitgreenwich.org.uk/christmas.
