The wait is finally over as Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, will open its doors for the spectacular 2013 season this Friday (15^th March). The park boasts some of the biggest, wettest and scariest rides around including white-knuckle thrill rides such as the adrenaline-inducing drop-tower, Apocalypse, stand-up coaster, Shockwave, the splash-tastic log flume, Stormforce 10, and stomach-churning gyro-swing, Maelstrom.

It promises to be another big year for the park, with the hugely popular Thomas Land™ attraction celebrating its fifth anniversary this year and a new Thomas & Friends™ ride also being unveiled in the summer.
