LOST IN A BOOK: LITERATURE FESTIVAL

Royal Museums Greenwich is hosting its very first literature festival and the theme is ‘adventure’. A weekend packed with talks, performances and workshops includes real-life adventurers, authors, screenwriters, animators and much more. The festival will not only include chronicles of action and derring-do but will remind audiences of the many ‘adventurous’ ways in which stories can be shared.

Lost in a Book: Weekend events

Events incorporating writers and speakers from award-winning filmmakers and animators, to bestselling authors and noted academics. Children special storytelling sessions and Tamara the Time Traveller. The second day includes talks and workshops featuring modern adventurers, Shakespearean scholars and award-winning novelists. The Museum is located a short walk from the Cutty Sark DLR, and Maze Hill and Greenwich train stations. The closest tube stations are North Greenwich (to change to local buses) and Canary Wharf (to change to DLR), both on the Jubilee line.
