World’s First Active Gaming Experience to Launch at The O2 in London

We Do Play, the company behind popular experiential entertainment brands such as Flip Out adventure parks and Boom Battle Bar, is bringing the world’s first active gaming experience, Activate, to the UK. This exciting new attraction will make its European debut at The O2 in London this winter.

Activate combines physical activity and gaming in a revolutionary way, offering participants the chance to jump, climb, and solve problems in immersive, interactive game rooms. Designed to offer a high-energy, adrenaline-filled adventure for all ages, Activate promises to deliver a unique and dynamic experience that blends technology and physical play. This new attraction will be housed in a 10,000 sq. ft. space on the upper level of The O2, close to other popular attractions like Mamma Mia! The Party.

Having already made a huge impact across North America, where it operates in 32 locations throughout Canada and the United States, Activate has captured global attention. With over 750 million views on social media, it has been hailed as one of the fastest-growing experiential leisure brands. Now, UK visitors will be able to experience this cutting-edge gaming concept for the first time.

Richard Beese, Co-Founder of We Do Play, is excited to bring Activate to London, stating: “We were the team behind Boom Battle Bar at The O2, and it’s been a phenomenal location for us. The O2 is the perfect spot for Activate, with its unbeatable energy and atmosphere. This interactive, high-tech gaming experience will offer customers something truly unique and unforgettable.”

Janine Constantin-Russell, Managing Director of the Entertainment District at The O2, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Activate to The O2 later this year. It will further enhance our entertainment offering, giving visitors even more exciting options under one roof. We’re proud to be chosen for Activate’s UK debut and are confident it will be a hit with our guests.”
